Omar Al Yawer

Omar Al Yawer is a Partner and Chief Capital Formation Officer (CCFO) at Ruya Partners, an Abu Dhabi-based independent private credit firm that focuses on providing flexible, alternative financing solutions to mid-market private sector companies in developing markets, including Saudi Arabia. He is also cited as a co-founder of the firm, which was established in 2020.

Mr. Al Yawer is a seasoned asset-raising professional with over 26 years of experience in both private and public markets across the U.S., UK, and the MENA region. Before co-founding Ruya, he was an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he was responsible for re-establishing the firm's presence in the Gulf region. His extensive career also includes senior roles at institutions like Man Group, Franklin Templeton Investments, and NBK Capital Partners. His current work at Ruya is critical in providing tailored private credit and structured credit investments that bridge the significant funding gap for SMEs, supporting economic growth and diversification in the region. He holds a B.A. in Business Management from Florida Atlantic University.
