Biswajit Dasgupta

Biswajit Dasgupta is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Asas Capital, a prominent asset management company based in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and licensed by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). As CIO, he is a key member of the firm's leadership team, driving strategic vision and overseeing major investment decisions, capital allocation, and portfolio management.

With a wealth of experience in the finance and investment industry, Mr. Dasgupta has held various high-level roles at companies such as JRC Corporate Consulting, Emirates Investment Bank pjsc, and Invest AD. His expertise spans across multiple asset classes, including private equity and venture capital. He is crucial in implementing Asas Capital's goal to be a high-performing asset management company in the GCC and is involved in pioneering the Middle East's first comprehensive "Family Office as a Service" model, including operations newly licensed in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Dasgupta is a Chartered Accountant and holds degrees in Finance, Accounting, Corporate Law, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
