Delegate Terms & Conditions.

Middle East Investor Network (ME-IN) — operated by Coeus RG Events Organising & Management FZCO

1. About these terms

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your registration for, and attendance at, events organised by Coeus RG Events Organising & Management FZCO, a company incorporated in the Dubai United Arab Emirates Queen Elizabeth 2 (DUQE) free zone, trading as the Middle East Investor Network ("ME-IN", "the Organiser", "we", "us", "our").

These Terms apply to all events operated under the ME-IN brand, including but not limited to ALTInvest (Dubai), Saudi Alternatives Exchange (SAX) (Riyadh/Diriyah), and FutureFunds (Abu Dhabi), collectively referred to as "Events" and each individually as an "Event".

By completing your registration — whether online, in writing, or verbally confirmed — you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before registering. If you do not accept these Terms, you should not register for or attend our Events.

2. Registration and payment

2a. Fees

The registration fee ("Fee") applicable to your attendance will be clearly stated at the point of registration. All Fees are quoted in AED or USD as specified, exclusive of any applicable VAT or taxes unless stated otherwise.

Full payment of the Fee is required no later than 48 hours before the Event. Failure to complete payment by this deadline entitles the Organiser to reallocate your place and deny entry, without liability to you.

2b. Immediate digital access

Upon receipt of full payment, you will be granted immediate access to any pre-event digital materials made available to registered delegates, including networking portals, attendee directories, and event research insights ("Digital Services"). Access to Digital Services does not constitute a separate contract and remains subject to these Terms.

2c. Payment disputes

If you have a query regarding a charge, you agree to contact us at hello@me-in.com and allow a reasonable period for us to investigate and resolve the matter before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may be treated as a breach of these Terms and may affect your ability to register for future Events.

Our payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment provider. By completing payment, you acknowledge that your transaction data will be processed in accordance with Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store your full card details.

3. Cancellations, transfers and credits

3a. No refund policy

All Fees paid are strictly non-refundable. This policy applies regardless of the reason for non-attendance, including personal circumstances, travel disruption, or changes in employment. By completing your registration, you explicitly acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.

3b. Badge transfers

You may transfer your registration to a colleague or professional peer, provided:

The transfer request is made in writing to hello@me-in.com at least seven (7) business days before the Event;

The substitute delegate meets any eligibility criteria applicable to the Event;

An administrative fee of AED 150 is paid at the time of the transfer request.

Transfer requests received after the seven-day window cannot be guaranteed and will be assessed at the Organiser's sole discretion.

3c. Credit notes

If you are unable to attend and cannot arrange a suitable substitution, your Fee will be converted into a Credit Note to the value of the Fee paid. Credit Notes are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of issue and may be applied to any future ME-IN Event. Credit Notes are non-transferable and carry no cash value.

4. Event changes, postponement and cancellation

4a. Changes to event details

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the Event programme, speakers, venue, or format. We will endeavour to communicate any material changes promptly. Minor changes do not entitle you to a refund or credit.

4b. Postponement

In the event of a postponement, your registration and Fee will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date. You will be notified of the new date in writing. You have seven (7) calendar days from the date of that notification to object in writing to the new date. If no written objection is received within this period, the transfer to the new date is deemed accepted.

If you object within the seven-day window and cannot attend the rescheduled date, a Credit Note will be issued in accordance with clause 3c.

4c. Force majeure and cancellation

If an Event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, epidemic, acts of war or armed conflict, civil unrest, natural disaster, or governmental or regulatory restrictions imposed in the UAE, KSA, or other relevant jurisdiction ("Force Majeure Event"), we will not be liable to provide a cash refund. In such circumstances, a Credit Note will be issued to the full value of the Fee paid.

We will use reasonable endeavours to reschedule any cancelled Event and will keep registered delegates informed throughout.

5. Code of conduct and cultural compliance

ME-IN Events take place across the GCC, a region with distinct legal and cultural standards that we ask all delegates to respect without exception.

5a. General conduct

All delegates are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Behaviour that is disruptive, offensive, threatening, or harassing towards other attendees, speakers, staff, or venue personnel will not be tolerated.

5b. Decency and attire

Delegates must comply with the public decency laws of the relevant host jurisdiction, including the Public Decency Law of the UAE (Federal Law No. 4 of 2020) and, for events held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, applicable KSA regulations and General Entertainment Authority (GEA) guidelines. Smart, conservative professional business attire is required at all ME-IN Events.

5c. Expulsion

The Organiser reserves the right to remove any delegate whose conduct, speech, or attire is deemed to be in breach of these standards or applicable local law. Expulsion will be immediate and without refund of Fees paid.

5d. Anti-suitcasing

Unauthorised solicitation, distribution of marketing materials, or commercial activity by delegates who are not registered sponsors or exhibitors is strictly prohibited. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any delegate engaging in such conduct without refund.

6. Photography, filming and intellectual property

By attending a ME-IN Event, you consent to being filmed, photographed, or recorded as part of the event environment. This content may be used by the Organiser for promotional, editorial, and marketing purposes across digital and print channels globally, without further consent or compensation.

If you have a specific objection to being filmed or photographed, please notify us in writing before the Event and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, though we cannot guarantee this in open-format sessions.

Delegates are prohibited from undertaking professional or commercial recording of sessions, speakers, or other attendees without the prior written consent of the Organiser. All presentations, materials, and content delivered at ME-IN Events remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

7. Liability

7a. Cap on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Organiser's total aggregate liability to any delegate — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total Fees paid by that delegate in respect of the relevant Event.

7b. Exclusions

We accept no liability for:

Loss of business, revenue, profit, or anticipated savings;

Any indirect or consequential loss of any kind;

Personal injury, illness, or loss of property not caused by our direct negligence;

Travel costs, accommodation, or other expenses incurred in connection with attending an Event that is postponed or cancelled.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.

For Events held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, delegates additionally agree to comply with all applicable KSA regulations, including requirements of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA).

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your attendance at a ME-IN Event shall first be referred to us in writing at hello@me-in.com for good-faith resolution. If the matter cannot be resolved within 30 days, disputes with a value below AED 500,000 may be submitted to the DIFC Small Claims Tribunal. Disputes above this threshold shall be referred to the DIFC Courts.

9. Data protection

Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at me-in.com/privacy. By registering, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

By attending and consenting where prompted, you agree that event photography and footage in which you appear may be processed as set out in clause 6 above and our Privacy Policy.

10. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. These Terms, together with any event-specific supplementary terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your attendance.
